Who we are

Build AI Products People Trust is a course created by Madalena Costa and Sónia Gomes. The data controller for the waitlist is [Data controller: name and address]. You can contact us at [contact email].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address. If you arrived through a link with a reference code, for example from one of our events, we also record that code so we know how you heard about the course.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to send you a short series of emails to help you prepare your idea, and to tell you about the founding cohort: dates, programme, when applications open and how to apply. We don’t use it for anything else.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us. Withdrawing doesn’t affect anything we did before.

Who processes it

Waitlist sign-ups are stored by MailerLite, an email service based in Lithuania (EU), on our behalf. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until the founding cohort has been filled and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you enrol, the terms of enrolment will explain how we handle your information from then on.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy of it. Email us at [contact email]. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
